Staff

Carol - Patient Service Representative

I have been with Tauber Eye Center for only a short time, but enjoy working here very much. My husband Jerry and I have lived in KC since we got married. We have 2 wonderful children, Wesley 21 and Lacy 18. Both will be attending college in the fall. My husband and I also run a small vending business in our spare time.

Stephanie - Office Manager

I have been with Tauber Eye Center since June 2009, but you may not see me very often since I’m usually in the back working with insurance companies. When I’m not at Tauber Eye Center you can find me chasing around my very active daughter and watching any new kids movie that has just come out. I am a big sports fan, especially KU basketball, so from about September thru March you can find me glued to a TV in my free time watching the games.

Brooke - Clinic Manager

I guess most can say I’ve been around Tauber Eye Center as long as they can remember, that would be true. This September will mark my 14th year working beside Dr Tauber and I can honestly say I have enjoyed every year. But helping patients is not the only way I spend my days. I have 3 active children, Jalen 17, Quentun 13 and Aniston 3. I keep very busy outside of the clinic juggling sports schedules and play dates. However, when I do get extra minutes for myself I love working out and traveling with friends and family.

Carrie - Ophthalmic Assistant

After relocating to Kansas City, I joined the Tauber Eye Center team in the Spring of 2009. Since getting married in June 2010, I have been working on decorating my home and trying to become a "decent" cook. (note, still a work in progress) Some would say I'm a sports fanatic. I have played tennis since the age of three and coached high school tennis in Indiana for 3 years. Growing up in Indiana, I have a special place in my heart for basketball, but I really love football. I am a diehard Colts fan and often wear my Colts scrubs on Fridays. Even though I love the Colts, I still cheer for local sports and even own a Chief's t-shirt.

Missy - Ophthalmic Assistant

I have recently relocated to the Kansas City area and have enjoyed the excitement of being a new home owner and one of Tauber Eye Center’s newest employees. I am a KU graduate and absolutely love my KU basketball. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs and staying involved in the philanthropic community.

Office Hours

Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you have an emergency after hours, call our office number to reach our 24-hour answering service.

Insurance & Payment

We accept over 50 types of medical insurance. Feel free to call and verify that we accept your insurance plan.

Also, many of our patients take advantage of financing options that we offer to pay for visits and procedures not covered by insurance, including LASIK vision correction surgery.
